History

Collins & Galyon was formed in 1999 by Jim Galyon and Tony Collins. They each brought a unique sets of skills and experience to the business. Tony had spent his career as the business development officer for a large regional construction company. Jim Galyon had a successful history of commercial and residential construction as well as a real estate portfolio manager for a regional financial institution. Both have been, and continue to be active in local and regional organizations that promote the community. The Greensboro Builders Association, NC Builders Association, Guilford County Zoning Commission, North Carolina ABC Board are but a few of the entities that have benefited from their time and expertise.

Over the years a vast variety of projects have been completed throughout the area extending into Virginia and South Carolina. These projects have ranged from general construction to site planing and development, real estate, project management, value engineering and budgeting, student housing and multi family, medical and office complexes, retail and commercial space.
